"Here is how it works": Sign up for one of the different service options (explained below). If you sign up for on-call service we additionally provide phone support for all tools, allow you to phone in new tool requests, and prioritize your requests for new tools (turn-around is usually the same day).

• Pre-Pay (Most Common): Pre-pay Tools for Hire service allows you to purchase some number of uses for a very low price (between $5-$7) per use depending on the quantity. Each purchased use is compatible with all tools in the library as well as any tools you or someone else requests in the future. Upon each completed run, a use is deducted from your total available uses. You can purchase additional uses at any time and these additional uses are immediately added to those you have available. When you completely exhaust your uses, you will not be able to use any of the tools you've downloaded until you purchased additional uses. • Subscription Driven Model: Provides a means for larger organizations to utilize the Tools for Hire tool library and development services for large numbers of field personnel and enjoy even greater savings. This service can track tool usage by user, tool, account number, and time (among other things). Companies are given an interface they can use to manage (add and remove) their employees' access to tools and generate tool usage reports. Most companies expense their tool use to their clients - meaning they use this service to keep track of where different tools are used (which accounts) and then bill these clients for each of their respective uses. This is just one of many different ways the subscription driven model is working today.
