Notes: SBCA is the national trade organization representing all
segments of the satellite industry. It is committed to expanding the
utilization of satellite technology for the broadcast delivery of
video, audio, data, music, voice, interactive and broadband
services. SBCA is composed of DBS, C-band, broadband, satellite
radio, and other satellite service providers, content providers,
equipment manufacturers, distributors, retailers, encryption
vendors, and national and regional distribution companies that make
up the satellite services industry. Funding for the Association
comes primarily from membership dues proceeds from SBCA events.

Notes: SIA is the unified voice of the
commercial satellite industry on policy, regulatory, and legislative
matters of common concern. By monitoring events in government and
serving as an industry form, the SIA works to advance satellite
interests both at home and at abroad. The association is dedicated
to promoting the use of satellite technology in global
communications.

Notes: A nonprofit member-benefit society that serves satellite
professionals throughout their careers. Promoting the development of
- and access to - high-quality, satellite-related education on the
post-secondary and continuing (adult) levels through scholarships,
development of curricula, hosting conferences and publishing the
world's first online journal on space communications. Helping
satellite professionals to advance their careers by creating
opportunities for them to do business with each other and learn from
each other through Chapter programs, social networking, our
membership database and publications. Working to increase the
professionalism and professional standing of members in every sector
of the global satellite industry through partnerships with leading
educational institutions and the private sector. Honoring
extraordinary achievement by satellite professionals and the
companies they work for through the Satellite Hall of Fame and
