- Online ad spending at newspaper Web sites totaled $847 million (Newspaper Association of America)
Connectivity:
- 3 million homes in North America are now
connected by fiber-based broadband, while connections are being
marketed to another 10 million. Verizon and other former Bell
companies accounted for 72 percent of these connected homes. (RVA)
- 56 percent of North American and European enterprises (firms with 1,000 or more employees) consider Web 2.0 to be a priority (Forrester)
