| NOTES: This phase permits the operator to assign a subnet to the group of HFC nodes to be moved off their existing subnet to create a new subnet. Of importance in this operation is determining what would be the most appropriate sized subnet to accommodate this new group. Thus the operator is presented with drop downs to all him/her to select which available (free/unused) subnet and subnet mask best satisfy this new group while providing acceptable utilization and room for future growth. |
