Broadband Periodicals

A reading list of various periodicals with ties to broadband. If your not reading these, you will discover a whole new world open up to you that you previously thought never existed. The information in these is indispensable!

cover Harvard Business Review
12 Issues/1 year

My Take: Dispense with the snooty title, this periodical is perhaps the most respected business magazine running. Very well written articles and case studies with valuable information needed to put ideas in motion.

Broadband Properties
12 Issues/1 year

My Take: A free magazine that covers primarily broadband and its impact on smaller cable systems, apartments, multiple dwelling units (MDU), universities, and public utilities. Your best bet in learning this market, its customers, and the many vendors within this space.

CRN
26 Issues/1 year

My Take: A free magazine covering the enterprise VAR and technology integrator industry. Provides convenient means of keeping up with new technologies available for this industry.

Communications Engineering & Design
12 Issues/1 year

My Take: A free magazine covering primarily the cable industry. Perhaps the most trusted most comprehensive magazine of the cable industry.

Information Week
26
Issues/1 year

My Take: A free magazine covering primarily enterprise computing. Terrific insight into major issues effecting this marketplace, new technologies addressing these issues, along with great intelligence on the vendor landscape.

iconicon Red Herring
48 Issues/1 year (Digital Subscription - Includes Access to Archived Issues)

My Take: The re-birth of a magazine started in the height of the Internet boom, only it went by way of many of the companies it covered. Gone are the days of the comical binders where supposedly it information was gathered. However, life goes on and many of its articles still pack the punch it once had. Great detective read - especially the archives!
